Interview with Celtic Artist Brenin's Light

As much as Sacramento has a diverse local music scene, it only has a few Celtic artists. One of the most
melodic artists of this genre is Brenin's Light whose main songwriter
and musician is David Henderson. I just happened to run into him last weekend at the Second Saturday Art Walk in Midtown
and we did a short interview while his wife Laurie was running at art exhibit at the Sacramento Art Complex near
21st and K Street. We had not seen each other for a few years and since then he has recorded an album of
Celtic instrumentals in which he plays all the instruments. Some of those instruments besides keyboards and
guitar include laphart, recorder and chimes. He also adds ethereal vocals and Gregorian chants. His symphonic music is very
relaxing and inspires visions of nature and feelings of tranquility. He's been playing Celtic music since 1997.
The history of Celtic music traces back centuries in Ireland, Scotland and England. David visits the Sacramento
area when he gets time to break away from his peaceful surroundings in the Lionwood Forest of El Dorado Hills.
Brenin's Light videos and songs can be found on ReverbNation where it is ranked the #1 Celtic/Ambient/Orchestral artist
